Its a spiritual skill you must learn if you are going to attain the realm designed for you by God in the Spirit. Our Lord Jesus was mocked several times but He was unperturbed because He knew how to deal with the spirit of mockery. The first weapon Goliath launched against David was the spirit of mockery. The bible says Goliath disdained David! After Elisha got the double portion he so desired he went back to his ministry base in Mount Carmel through the same route he travelled to the place of power transfer. At Jordan he parted the Jordan river. At Jericho he healed the bad water and barren land, then at Bethel, the spirit of mockery was launched against him and he had to deal with the spirit before he could settle down to operate in his ministry. May I charge you like Paul charged Timothy this morning "Let no man despise or mocker your youth, your ministry, your relationship, your marriage, your walk with God, your prayer life, your advancement." Serve God faithfully, love him dearly and hold him fast.
