When some jews were oppressed their own people, the had not capacity to redeem themselves and command the restoration of what taken from them so they cried out to Nehemiah and desired him to intervene in their matter. After some self reflection, Nehemiah intervened and stood for the people and demanded an immediate restoration of every single thing that was taking and stolen from them.
Nehemiah 5:11: Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the corn, the wine, and the oil, that ye exact of them. 12Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise.
There are certain things that cannot be restored without the prophetic intervention of someone with higher spiritual authority to demand for it. Sometimes you may require a collective force of people coming together as the church of Jesus to demand for the restoration. The restoration of Peters freedom had to initiated by people who came together to pray and collectively demand for it. Don’t fight alone, God has given you people to speak for you, God has given you the church to issue the command. And Today, in the name of Jesus Christ I proclaim a complete restoration of all that was taken from you to the smallest detail.
