Moses was very a very talented, gifted, skilled and intelligent young man raised in the palace of the king of Egypt. He probably had the best education, best lifestyle, best training from Egypt Leadership Academy. Before he could hear Gods call to faithful service however, he had to be deprogrammed and re-trained by an amazing man called Jethro.
Jethro had a fantastic spiritual leadership style to the extent that God could trust him to reprogram and prepare Moses for the great assignment of leading Gods people out of the bondage of Egypt. You know why the spiritual debriefing of Moses was important? Because the leadership template produced by Egypt cannot deliver God's people from the captivity of Egypt. In like manner, the church can not employ the template of the world to produce faithful and true disciples of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
