Friends challenging days are ahead and every child of God must learn and begin to build strength and stability for the days ahead. Strength to contend and to keep the faith which was once delivered unto us so that the Lord Jesus will find faith on earth when he returns.
But what are the practical steps needed to build strength and stability in the coming days? How do we build posterity for the future.
I heard the story of Susana Wesley the woman who raised John and Charles Wesley (two men who changed the face of Christianity in their days). With 10 children running around in her home, she found strength, stability and grace to pray for 2 hours on a daily basis. She vowed that she would never spend more time in leisure entertainment than she did in prayer and Bible study.
No wonder all her children became mighty tools in the hand of the Lord and the world can never forget two of her boys who did mighty and great things for God. God is still able to do much more in our days. But we must continue ….
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among them that are sanctified. Acts 20:32
