Luke 16: 22-23: “So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”
So there are two kinds of life: the physical life and the spiritual life. The physical life will end here but the spiritual life will continue into eternity. The value of your spiritual life here on earth will determine your spiritual value when you leave the world. The rich man invested in his physical life but was bankrupt in his spiritual life. He was the reigning king in his physical life but useless in the spiritual life. How valuable is your spiritual life? Are you so precious to heaven that angels will come to carry your body when you finish your assignment here on earth?
