Description

The 7th & 8th tests of the cross are the most powerful.   At this point, Jesus looked for His disciples but they were all gone. He was abandoned and left alone. He looked down from the cross and not even one person to smile or feel sorry for Him. He turned His face upwards and Heaven seemed silent.

He felt that the Father had forsaken Him. He cried out and breathed His last. But as soon as He gave up, the flesh died, the body gave up and the Spirit came alive. Things began to happen. The Veil tore, the earth quaked, the rocks split and the graves opened up. Then the centurion said “”Truly this was the son of GOD - Mathew 27:50-53.

Dearly beloved things will remain the way they are until you joyfully go through the test of abandonment, aloneness and death.

If any man will follow me Jesus said, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me - Mathew 16:24

There are manifestations you are waiting for that will never happen until you go through the test of abandonment, aloneness and ultimately the test of death of the cross. Until then, men will be confused about who you truly are. For when Jesus died, the centurion were deeply convinced that He was truly the son of God.

Until the death of the cross is accomplished  in you, the world cannot validate your sonship?

Mathew 27:54:So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”
