I once watched a woman who was caught by immigration officers attempting to smuggle drugs into a South American country. As they moved her in chains to a cell reserved for her before her case was decided, she wept terribly. I was so touched by her tears and wished I could do something for her. Unfortunately, I could not do anything to help her. Hell is worse than this, friends. You don’t want to imagine the pain and the tears that will be heard on the day of great judgment. Every man will stand before the great judge of the whole earth and each must give account of their works before Him. Some will enter into the joy of their Lord and be rewarded and others will enter into the eternal pain and torment of hell because of the way they have lived their lives here on earth. What do you need to cut off from your life so you don't miss the joy and glory of heaven?
“If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched’ ” (Mark 9:43-44)
