For Elijah to release the rain that God promised in 1 Kings 18:1, he had to climb up to mount Carmel to pray. And he never stopped praying until there was a visible reaction from the sea.
1 Kings 18: 43 - and Elijah said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea. "So he went up and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.” Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!”
Elijah heard the sound of the abundance of rain, but he had to pray out the cloud from the sea. Also, In the same sea where fishes avoided Peter's net despite his night of fruitless labour, he caught abundance of fishes in an instant at the word of Jesus .
Isaiah 60 vs.5 is real my dear friends. The abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee.
But where are the men who will restrain their appetite and give up their comfortable positions and seek God in prayer until their is a visible rising and manifestation from the sea? Where are the men who will do the conversion of the abundance of the sea on their knees?
Where are the men and women who will pray until the powers of the sea, the dragons and serpent give up and release the abundance of the sea.
As soon as Elijah heard of the cloud rising out of the sea he immediately sent a message to Ahab for he was assured of victory in spiritual warfare.
To travail and prevail in spiritual warfare, you must ascend to the mountain of God and cast yourself before His Holy Presence and pray for the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much.
