One sure thing that Joy does in the life of a believer is that it produces the strength to conceive. When Hanah left Shiloh with a joyful countenance she conceived her Samuel and when Sarah laughed in herself, she conceived her Isaac.
But strength to conceive is one and strength to birth that which is conceived is another. Many people have conceived amazing and wonderful things and have carried their divine conception for years because they have not mustered the strength to deliver what they carry in their womb (your mind may be regarded as your womb in the spirit in this context).
The truth is that over prolonged conception can be very discomforting. As you pray for the joy that provides the strength to conceive, you must also pray for the joy that produces the strength to bring to birth.
It is trouble for one to feel labour pains and have no strength to bring forth. It is devastating to carry visions and dreams for months or years and then have no strength to bring them forth at their due date.
As you seek the Lord for the Joy that produces the strenght to conceive, you must also seek for the joy the provides the strenght to bring to bear all that God has planted in your womb in the Spirit.
John 15:11: “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
