In this episode we begin our grand, exploratory journey of the Way of the Showman. In the last season I offered glimpses of what the world looked like through the lens of Showmanship. As this season unfolds I will try to give you a much more comprehensive view of the Way, what it is and the ideas, insights, wordgames, poems, techniques and methods that I have used to shape my own lens. The distant and nebulous goal of this yourney is first and foremost to entertain you, but also to simultanously showing you that Showmanship and performing circus tricks for amusement and profit can be a profound affair indeed.
This is the introductory episode where I give you an outline and some thoughts on how I discovered and first began mapping the Way of the Showman.
