- Potassium delivers sodium and we need them to be balanced. It maintains blood pressure and acid/base balance.
- Low levels of sodium = nausea, vomiting, headache, brain fog, low energy, muscle weakness and spasms, muscle cramps, irritability, restlessness.
- Low levels of potassium = constipation, irregular heartbeat, fatigue, muscle cramps
- Main focus is the whole connection to catarrhal discharges
- Second remedy used in colds
- Ferrum phos is first and then once the cold starts to ripen and the thick white catarrh forms, it's the kali mur phase
- Aversion to fat (like the white thick mucous)
