- Abraham took another wife and had additional sons.
- Abraham died and was buried by his sons Ishmael and Isaac.
- Ishmael also had descendants and became great.
- Applications
- God does not owe us anything, but instead we receive His gift of righteousness by faith.
- Abraham is the father of those who truly believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Our faith is proven by our obedience.
- There is hope for the Ishmaels of the world.
- God is faithful, even when we are not.
