At some point you have probably heard someone make the claim that all religions are basically the same. This can be done in an attempt to find common ground or it can be done in a dismissive way. But is it true? Is the strictly monotheistic Islam really the same as the polytheistic Hinduism? Are Buddha, Joseph Smith, and Jesus really all messengers of the same truth? Are all religions the same?
