Christmas without Jesus offers no hope whatsoever. At best it provides a momentary distraction from the gloomy news and the troubles of life. Conversely, Christmas with Jesus offers us a vision of the world that is supremely hopeful. One in which sin, death, evil and darkness are abolished forever.
