On November 10th, Grace City Church will pray in two men as our first elders (think: senior leaders responsible for the care and direction of the local church). This is a big moment in the life of our church, but eldership is a topic that poses lots of questions. What is eldership? Why does it matter in a church? Does having male elders mean women are less valued? Rich Crosby goes through these and other questions on eldership and invites us to be open to what the Bible says about how Jesus wants his church to be cared for, even when it can feel uncomfortable.
