In Matthew 5 Jesus says that it is only those with pure hearts who will see God, but in Matthew 15 Jesus also says that anyone who lies or who speaks badly about someone else does so because their heart is unpure. We've all failed this test, so is Jesus setting us up for something impossible? Or, is there hope for people with impure hearts?
