Church can be messy because life can be messy. Fortunately for us, messy church is something that is written about in the Bible. In 1 Corinthians, the Apostle Paul starts his letter by thanking God for the church, but then goes on to talk about how messy the church in Corinth was and how they needed to deal with the problems. How can thankfulness and messiness go hand-in-hand? Are there genuine reasons we should be thankful for the church despite the mess?
