In this advent season how can we approach it with hopeful anticipation as opposed to debilitating anxiety?
We all have our destinations in mind and that hope in the destination can bring great excitement. However because of delays and layovers on the way, what once started as hopeful anticipation can become debilitating anxiety. The Bible says true hope can’t be seen with physical eyes, but through the eyes of your heart that’s enlightened. Your situation is an opportunity for God to do something deeper, something under the surface, something you can’t necessarily see. Nothing can separate you from the love and compassion of Jesus. In whatever season you are in remember not to put your hope in the outcome of your season but on the opportunity to be able to follow HOPE PERSONIFIED.
