Description

This week on The Business Couch with Dr. Yishai, I had Mike Jesowshek, serial entrepreneur, founder of the digital accounting firm JETRO and Associates, and host of the “Small Business Tax Savings” podcast. If you haven’t yet, go back and listen to episodes 124 and 125 to learn from a tax expert, seasoned entrepreneur, and leader extraordinaire who has learned from mistakes, made adjustments, and continually improved as a leader, working on his own businesses, and when helping his clients proactively adapt the financial and tax side of their businesses.

At the end of our conversation, Mike asked me about hiring and determining culture fit.

Sometimes, people seem to fit on paper but when they get hired you find that they are just not a good fit. Sometimes they are putting their “best foot forward” and trying to be who they think you want instead of being genuinely themselves.

When you have a pool of talent, how can you determine if they will be a good culture fit?

Today, I’m talking about factors that are important to consider when assessing a pool of qualified, talented candidates for culture fit.
