Description

This week on The Business Couch with Dr. Yishai, I had Krystal Covington, CMO of Go Lead Consulting, and founder of the Women of Denver business organization.

Krystal shared incredible insights on adaptability and how to handle lessons and ideas that are commonly shared but hold us back. Krystal also talked about lessons she learned the hard way about reaching out for help and developing partnerships that have been the lifeblood of her survival and thriving. Along the way, Krystal shared why it is so important to have people you can struggle with, why it is important to support each other in tough times, and how it can be paid back tenfold – even when you do not see the direct path ahead.

If you haven’t yet, go back and listen to episodes 190 and 191 to learn from the insights and journey of an award-winning business strategist, TEDx Speaker, and successful entrepreneur.

At the end of our conversation, Krystal asked me why entrepreneurs have such a hard time breaking bad business habits that they learn and pick up in their prior corporate careers, and what makes it so hard to create change.

So today, I’m talking about why entrepreneurs find it so difficult to change and switch tactics when something they learned in the corporate world isn’t working in their own business.

I also talk about how to make sure you as an entrepreneur and leader don’t stay stuck with blinders on when a strategy isn’t working.
