Occurring right on the heels of the federal government shutdown, the tone was markedly different from the Governor’s budget proposal announcement.Also this week, Senate Finance Chairman and chief sponsor of a new law requiring most employers to provide workers with sick leave, Senator Thomas “Mac” Middleton introduced a bill to delay enforcement of the new law.
