We don't want to admit it but if we are honest with ourselves sometimes, it can feel like all the sacrifices we make to follow Jesus are too much. We might not see the results and then it can begin to feel that if we don't see the results, maybe those sacrifices aren't really worth it. Do you ever feel that all the effort, sacrifice, time and the money just might not be worth it? Is what you give up to follow Jesus really having effects? Is it all actually worth it? In this parable we see Jesus' answer to those questions. To follow Him will indeed cost us. But, what Jesus so generously gives us in return is absolutely worth it. Listen to this teaching and allow the Holy Spirit move in your heart and to challenge you to see the worth in following Him.
