In John 17, Jesus prays for all believers to be people of love and purpose. For believers to be engaged in the world they live in. At the same time, he calls them to be radically distinct from the value systems of the world. How can we live in the world without becoming too much like it? Are we ever guilty of loving the world too much? Or maybe we are guilty of, not loving the people of the world enough?
