La'Krystal Johnson is a motivational speaker and expressive art coach who focuses on building the character and resilience of children experiencing adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
La'Krystal is a native of Shreveport, LA where she served as an educator for 7 years. She is a graduate of Northwestern State University and Louisiana College. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Art Therapy.
La'Krystal has no biological children of her own. However, she has served as a foster mother to 9 children in the state of Louisiana. She has also mentored over 100 children for 12 years, and 17 of those children now call her "g-mom (godmother).
La'Krystal provides mentoring and coaching to children labeled with behavioral issues, self-esteem, and life skills workshops to build identity, fun and engaging group events to build interaction and social skills, and academic assistance to improve school performance.
