What does having a call on your life look like? The simple answer to this question is to follow our discussion with Davon Rivera. Davon is a teenage young man that has a lot to say:
- Raised in the Body of Christ
- Davon was born and raised in the body of Christ
- His father was not as active in his life and that affected him
- Miss behaved in school due to the absence of his father
- Suicidal thoughts
- Davon felt empty and did not desire to live any longer
- The love of his family and his mom showed him that he had a lot to live for
- He heard the voice of the Lord telling him He had plans for him in this life
- His baptism
- Brother Daniels was preaching during evening service and he felt it was time to say yes to God
- He was so attuned with the minister and felt like it was only him and the preacher
- He shared his experience with friends about his baptism
- Being able to connect with children his age
- He was called to minister to children his age
- At the age of 2 he was making the decision to get baptized
- Planting the seed of the word in other children
- Baptism was an experience for him
The way to salvation:
- Hear: Romans 10:17
- Believe: Hebrews 11:6
- Repent: Acts 17:30-31
- Confess: Matthew 10:32
- Be Baptized: Mark 16:15-16
- Be faithful unto death: Revelation 2:10
