The writer lost his fortune, his son, and four daughters all within the same year and on his way to comfort his wife, he wrote the comforting hymn "it is well with my soul". Not only is the backstory life changing but the numbers it represents is as well! "It is Well with My Soul" = 8 4 7 and 8 4 7 = new beginning, creation, complete and perfection. Upon salvation we are given a new beginning as a new creation made complete and perfect in Christ Jesus!
