The Bride of Christ is not a PERSON, it is a PEOPLE. It is a group of people called His CHURCH. He's been heavily invested in this group for thousands of years. The Bride is supposed to BE READY. This happens in three ways
- HE makes her ready. His love attention and selection changes everything
- She makes HERSELF ready INDIVIDUALLY. This is the job of every saint. Every bride on an oar and every oar in the water.
- WE make OURSELF ready COLLECTIVELY.
There is no call to God that is not also a call to His people
When you are saved, you are saved into HIM and into HIS people
