Pay attention! Here's the "Best of Hebrews" vol 1:
- it's not angels God helps, it's PEOPLE
- Jesus "tasted death" for all of us by taking our penalty for sin on the cross
- He helps us with our here and now with a whole THRONE of GRACE
- Don't "follow your heart" (it's terrible advice) but LEAD IT(this is good advice)
- We are to actively STRIVE to enter the REST of God (it's kind of exhausting)
- Be ready to receive OPEN FRACTURES from God's Word
- When we turn to Him, His help is sympathetic, available and effective
