Description

The context of the famous Jar of Clay passage is in light of CHRISTIAN WORKERS, specifically those occupying the office of Leader/Elder/Overseer/Shepherd/Teacher and probably here Apostle.  It is a difficult job that Paul in both INSUFFICIENT for and blessed with competence, call and capability for.

The Pastor job is not without its' difficulty.  There is affliction, perplexing, persecution and a bit of striking.  No picnic, but there is preservation too.  They are NOT crushed, driven to dispair, forsakenness of destruction.  The Lord is in it. '

Let's appreciate the difficult job that our dear Pastors do.  Let's try to be a joy to them.  They are doing it for our joy.
