Today’s message, Consider Your Ways, is the first of five primary messages through the book of Haggai. In many respects, it is looking at a map and saying YOU ARE HERE. You have to know where you are in order to figure out where you are going. When God says, Consider Your Ways, He is speaking the truth in love.
Unfortunately, this is a forgotten practice in today’s culture. Hard questions and truths are appropriate and needed. Most people don’t change by suggestions; most people need trusted people to speak truth in love in order to change.
This message will lead you to Consider Your Ways from the perspective of God and God’s people who only want what’s best for you. Consider these questions:
· Who has permission to ask hard questions in your life?
· Who do you receive hard truths from?
· When is the last time you received a hard truth?
· What are the results of receiving hard truths?
· What are the consequences of not receiving hard truths?
