In this episode, I sit down with Sydney-based OnlyFans content creator Adam Chen to talk about his creative journey.

Adam shares why he chose to enter the world of OnlyFans—a decision that wasn’t simply about sex or visibility. It came from his awareness of how Asian men have long been absent from Western adult film imagery, especially in the role of the top. Asian bodies in these positions are rarely seen, and Adam wanted to step into that absence. He speaks about wanting to become a visible Asian adult performer, using his own body to respond to this kind of structural racial inequality.
What struck me most was that Adam chose to share this decision with his parents and family. For him, it felt almost like coming out all over again. Even in the face of resistance and concern from his family, he decided to continue, fully aware of the pressure and cost that would come with that choice.
I was also deeply curious about how being an OnlyFans creator has shaped Adam’s private emotional and romantic life. When sex becomes work—rather than something that exists only within intimacy—how does one draw boundaries? We talk about whether, and how, Adam tries to separate sex as labor from sex as a personal, intimate experience.
For me, this episode isn’t just about OnlyFans.
It’s a conversation about bodies, desire, visibility, and what it means to place race and sexual subjectivity openly on the table.
