This is a very moving poem written about a true event in history where 40 Roman soldiers were martyred for being Christian. This poem has been in the Pitts family of entertaners in England for several hundred years and was closely guarded. It was given to the Sinclair Family Singers back in 1979 to carry on the tradition: To be given by memorized recitation only and to never give copies outside the family.
