Description

Daniel Morgan was the pointy end of the spear that won the battle of Saratoga that all agree turned the course of the war in our favor.  He was the great-grandson of Henry Morgan who was arguably the greatest, bad-ist, pirate that ever lived. That pirate blood still ran in his veins. During the French and Indian war, as a civilian wagoneer, he decked a British officer and was given a death sentence for it.  He was to be flogged 500 lashes.
Opps, he lived and became the head of Morgan's sharpshooters and was squared off with General Burgoyne 20 years later, the very same that gave him his sentence. Double opps
