This is a story of a black patriot that was named after his hero, the French Lafayette. He became a double spy working for our side but actually living in the enemy camp with them thinking he was their man. He was responsible for getting the word to Lafayette who then got it to George Washington that Cornwallis was in Yorktown and ready to be beaten. A real hero!
