The Most Beneficial Resolution
Phil. 3:12-21
Paul:
- Acknowledged that he was not alone in this attempt.
- Admitted he had not attained perfection.
- Kept a short memory of the past.
- Focused on what came next.
- Worked towards a goal.
- Recognized the primary goal.
Those not working toward the upward call of God:
- Work against God's redemptive plan.
- Have a different destiny.
- Live for physical gratification in the moment.
- Are satisfied with being unacceptable.
- Can't see beyond the physical.
People who are ready for the call of Christ:
- Belong to the Kingdom of God.
- Are waiting on Jesus to return.
- Are expecting to be changed.
- Believe Jesus will do this.
Only one resolution is necessary: In 2026, I will work to be ready for the upward call of Jesus.
If you are ready, you will:
- Be in a saving relationship with God.
- Be morphing into the likeness of His Son.
- Be doing Kingdom work for His glory.
- Be looking for the return of Jesus.
