This is the longest prayer recorded of Jesus.
Specific title is the Great High Priestly Prayer.
Role of a priest: a mediator between God & man.
A priest in that time offered blood sacrifices to atone for sins of the people and for the priest themselves. Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice. That ended all sacrifices.
The word glory, in Greek, is doxa and it means praise, honor and worthy.
How do we glorify God every day?
1. By our faith
2. By our worship
3. When we obey his word
4. When we pray in Jesus name
How are my words, actions, and talents reflective of God’s glory?
