The book of Psalms is the 3rd longest book of the Bible with 150 different psalms in the collection, totaling (30, 147 words).
The psalms were composed over a period of approximately 1,000 years.
The book of psalms can be summarized by 5 key words:
Praise (heartfelt gratitude)
Prophecy (coming messiah)
Pain ( Doubts, Fears, Problems)
Petition (Crying out for Relief)
Poetry (Words meant to be sung)
