Our lives need to continue to be called higher by our commitment to give to God and our continual trust in the words of those closest to us.
The story in the book of Ruth is a powerful narrative of what our relationships with God can look like and what our relationships with others should look like. We need to give to God until it hurts, and prompt others to do the same.
