This week I talk all about the stories we tell ourselves. The stories we tell ourselves have so much to do with what we will and won't accomplish in our lives it's a little bit scary. Because our brains believe what we tell them and because our brains are built to only survive our stories that originated in trauma only provide us with the safety of the story we have lived so long by. But, when we want to break free from the cage of our own making it can be really hard too and you'd better believe your brain is going to give you some really convincing reasons to stay put... you know, to survive like the wild animal you aren't.
