Loneliness can feel loud during the holidays, even when the room is full. We get practical about making space for God when life is packed. Try a five-minute daily rhythm in Scripture and prayer and watch it grow. Lead brief, honest family devotions—just a paragraph, a question, and a follow-up tomorrow. Don’t have all the answers? Model how to find them. We talk calendars and bank statements as mirrors of what we love, and we give permission to skip a practice, end a binge, or silence a notification so your soul can breathe. Community matters too: make the call, tell the truth without oversharing, and be the voice on the other end when someone else is struggling.
At the heart sits the manger—whether you picture a stable or a crowded lower room—where the Savior chose rejection so you could be welcomed. He prepares a room with your name, not down the street but in the Father’s house. Present stress and private doubts are real, but they don’t compare to the glory ahead or the presence offered now.
