Hello Fellow Golfists,
In this episode I was fighting a cough, sneezes, gurgles, and other bodily functions to help guide me through my 2021 US Open Preview episode. I chose some Erik Anders Lang inspired music to set the mood. Unfortunately after a bit of editing I couldn't have messed it up more than I did hacking up mass quantities of my essence. All in between thoughtful commentary and predicting what could happen at the 2021 US Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego California.
Torrey Pines golf course is a public golf course and looks easy from the drone footage that I saw this week. Not easy for me but easy for the best players in the world. Winning score could be 10 to 12 under par, God forbid! The drone footage also shows that it is a wide open playing field for all of the bombers and gougers. I think this will be another bomb and gouge tournament with the familiar bomb and gouge players doing their bomb and gouge playing styles. It’s not my ideal venue for the US Open but at least it’s on the coast.
My pick is Cameron Champ to win his first major championship.
