Today I’m joined by clinical psychologist Rosanna Pajak. She specializes in perinatal mental health, Rosanna has worked in clinical and community settings across the UK and Australia, including specialist trauma services and women's health services. As an experienced clinician and a mum herself, Rosanna is passionate about helping mum's heal from traumatic experiences during the process of childbirth.  

She shares what birth trauma is and what are the risk factors. We discuss how it can impact a woman and her family. We explore what can be done to help improve the birth experience and ways to help women heal after. We also discuss how following pregnancies and births can be effected.
