You’d be forgiven, as a buyer in this market, for thinking maybe this is a good time to wait. Prices have come down, maybe they’ll go down further. The media stories are all about a cooling market.
But underneath the headlines, on the street where the market is played out, there are signs of a return. Inventories are remarkably low, homes priced right are receiving multiple offers, and rental inventories are bare.
No one knows for sure, but that window of opportunity may not be open long.
