This is the second story in the waging war section. In this story, Dheerkamuka, the crane, describes the events in his travel to Hiranyagarba, the swan king. He talks bossily and is clueless about being rude to the birds he meets. Hiranyagarba cautions the crane by telling the tale of The Donkey in Tiger Skin.
