Ginny (Air Force) and Liz (Navy) are both veterans who collaborated on Operation HerStory - the first honor flight for veteran women.
This initiative honors women veterans and their service by making them visible and highlighting their vital contributions to our military during various eras of service. Currently this honor flight is in Chicago, IL only - however, this should be an honor for all women nationwide.
Every World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veteran in the Chicago area is invited to apply either has a veteran or a volunteer.
