As we continue to study Isaiah 53, we read that Jesus lack beauty of any kind and was rejected and despised by men. In this study, we see that God's metrics are different than man's - God doesn't look on the outward appearance, but the heart. And, we see the humility of Jesus in the fact that he was the most beautiful, powerful, and royal of all, yet surrendered himself to the lowest esteem - all for the love of His father and the of you and I.
