January 15, 2023. Sunday Evening, Madison Birdwell, Our Young Adults Sunday School Teacher shares a word with us from Esther 2:12 and Esther 4:14
Prayer:
(Exodus 15:2) My Father is God, and I WILL exalt Him.
Father, You have spoken a word over me that You will to heal me, and that there will be peace in the healing. I thank You, Lord, that You are a man of war (Exodus 15:3) that fights my battles, and I need only to hold my peace (Exodus 14:14).
You have set before me a choice of life or death (Deu. 30:19 & dream), and have given me the will to make my own decisions. And as Your Son once cried out, I will choose to pray that same prayer daily, that not my will, but Yours be done (Luke 22:42). I lay aside what is comfortable-what has been “normal” and press on toward the “better things” that You have spoken over my life (Phillipians 3:13-14).
Help me to remember that my affliction(s) is light (2 Cor 4:17) in comparison to Your sacrifice for me, and that You have considered these trials necessary that my faith be found genuine (1 Peter 1:6-7).
I have received Your anointing (Isaiah 61:1),
I have been planted as a mighty oak (Isaiah 61:3),
Clothed in Your [robe of] righteousness (Isaiah 61:10),
For the purpose of bringing You glory (Isaiah 61:3).
You have declared over me many promises, such as beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, and the garment of praise in place of the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3).
I will have double honor and everlasting joy (Isaiah 61:7). ALL who see me will acknowledge that I am an heir, whom the Lord Himself has blessed (Isaiah 61:9).
