Description

It’s January — so obviously we’re all supposed to have our lives together by now.
New habits. New mindset. New personality. Preferably before lunch.

In this episode, Emma and Bobo dive headfirst into the whole “New Year, New You” nonsense — unpacking why resolutions feel inspiring for about five minutes before immediately making us want to lie down forever. They talk broken promises to ourselves, the guilt of not “doing enough,” and the very real emotional support role played by snacks (biscuits absolutely count as dinner, thank you!).

Somewhere between the laughs, they land on a refreshingly kind truth:
you don’t need to reinvent yourself to be worthy. You can want better things for yourself without bullying yourself into them.

Emma wrestles with the urge to improve everything, while Bobo calmly reminds us that the “old you” has actually survived a lot — and maybe deserves a little respect, a cup of tea, and a very long lie down.
