Episode Seven
This episode begins a look at Poe’s ancestors - the people who made him who he became.
Mr. Poe talks about his grandfather - David Poe, Sr. - definitely a strong and decisive man who gave a great deal of money to the cause of the colonial independence. Mr. Poe then talks about his grandfather’s children - especially David Poe Jr. (the writer’s father.)
Mr. Poe then lovingly talks about his mother, her strong acting background, and success in America.
