We were originally going to cover 12 verses, but as I read verses 12, 13, 14 it became apparent that something we can easily gloss over was worth stopping on.
What Paul says casually, we miss deeply.
We are going to talk about how the world’s ideas and the church are starting to meld together a little bit.
There is something going on right now, in our cultural moment, specifically in the west, that we are finding ideologies creeping into the church. Worldly, man-made philosophies melding together with the way of the kingdom and we are calling it, mass producing it to the nations, Christianity. And I believe Paul is calling this out here.
